Who the heck is Jessica Strange?
I’m still trying to figure that out myself. But if you mix motherhood with endurance challenges, creative storytelling, and a slightly worrying tendency to overcommit (and still deliver), you’ll be close enough.
My StoryJust an unexpected marathon runner born from a postpartum identity crisis, with a severe inability to stay away from bikes.
Hi friends, I’m Jessica.
I’m a mountain biker turned marathon runner, content creator, and mother to a feral toddler. I’ve been blessed with the curse of biting off more than I can chew, but I'm having fun making it work.
For the last decade, bikes have shaped a huge part of my life and career, but after pregnancy and postpartum turned my world upside down, I found myself doing the one thing I hated most. Running.
Little did I know at the time, but running would gift me headspace, a new sense of self and help me claw back some of the fitness I once had.
Since then, things have rocketed. I’ve completed three World Major Marathons in 12 months, made a catalogue of YouTube videos, suffered through training blocks, navigated injury, setbacks, and a growing obsession with challenging myself to do hard things.
And this is where I share it; the highs, the lows, all the embarrassing moments and owning it all as part of the journey.
“Your channel is among my favourites. You are a regular person, not coming across as an influencer, and have a great knack for bringing viewers into and along your journey. You have fans in Canada.”
